Internet Tools

Each year I like to do a unit on the history of flight. The culminating activity is the student creation of a working hot air balloon. It is nice to

have the availability of the internet to find tools useful in the creation of activities.


Here is a time-line I have created for my flight unit. The internet tool for it's creation can be found at

www.teach-nology.com . This tool was very user friendly. However, you are limited to less than ten entries.

This is a wordsearch created to go with my unit on flight. This tool can be found at

www.puzzlemaker.com. The application would not allow me to place spaces betweem multi-word entries. Even so, I would recommend it

for it's ease of use.


I have created a crossword puzzle to go with my flight unit. You can find this tool at

http://teachers.teach-nology.com/web_tools/crossword/. This tool was very easy to use as well. Although, it did provide a challenge when

attempting to paste the finished product to a word document.
